September 13, 2006 in Entertainment, Personal Musings, TV, TV News by John

UPDATE: If you are looking for TV Season Premiers for Fall 2007, then there’s a list of TV shows for that time frame too.

UPDATE 2: Here’s a link to the Season Premiers for Fall 2008 dates and times.

All the TV season premiers are firing up. The So You Think You Can Dance blog posted a list of all the various TV shows that are premiering with a list of dates and times when the tv shows will have their premier. I also liked that the TV show has listed what network will be showing it. I guess I don’t watch TV enough to know which network has which shows. Fox’s Celebrity Duets

September 8, 2006 in Celebrity Duets, Entertainment, Personal Musings, Reality TV, TV, TV News by John

Tonight on Fox’s Celebrity Duets Lea Thompson was sent home. I can’t say that I’m addicted to Celebrity duets. In fact, I really don’t like the show, but for some reason I seem drawn to watch it to see who’s going to be on the show next. I’m really impressed with the amount of talent they’ve been able to sing duets with singers like Cheech Marin, Lucy Lawless, Carly Patterson, Hal Sparks, Jai Rodriguez and Alfonso Ribeiro.

My hope is that Lucy Lawless will win it all. A couple of her songs have been incredibly impressive.

I have to admit that I think the best judge on the board is David Foster. I love it because the guy really knows what he’s doing. Marie Osmond hasn’t completely embarrassed herself and Little Richard is crazy.

So far my favorite star on Celebrity Duets is by far Gladys Knight. I am a little biased since she is pretty much a neighbor, but honestly she is a performer through and through.
