I’m sure they have been looking for something to fill the X-Files void and Fringe is it!

JJ. Abrams’ has another smash hit on his hands and the fact that foreign television networks have already picked Fringe up is proof. Some UK and Australian networks pick up shows after the first season has aired in North America due to it being cheaper I believe. Not the case with Fringe since it’s already been picked up for UK Distribution and Sky One in Australia.

In a new TV show that pits 2 of my favorite things (Technology and Women Now Woman for me), a new show requires a guy to choose between a date with a girl and a gadget. Here’s the full description of the show:

A new dating series based on the notion that “boys love their toys” will pit girls against gadgets in an attempt to answer that age-old question: hottie or hot HDTV? In a twist on the reality TV staple For Love or Money, Playboy TV’s Gadget or the Girl will make contestants choose between a weekend getaway with a girl of their choice or a surprise high-tech toy.

The gear will range from a 60-inch plasma TV to an arcade game machine, but the guy won’t know what his prize is until he opts for either the gadget or the girl.

The romp premieres on Playboy TV on Monday, September 1, at 7:30 p.m. EDT. Well, I don’t get Playboy TV and never plan on it, so I’ll have to catch this one on YouTube or something if I’m going to watch it.
