Casey Carlson (born April 29, 1988) is a 20-year-old from Minneapolis, Minnesota, who auditioned in Kansas City, Missouri, sang “A Thousand Miles” by Vanessa Carlton for her audition.

Tatiana Nicole Del Toro (born October 17, 1984) is a 24-year-old from San Juan, Puerto Rico, who auditioned in San Francisco, California. During the February 17 episode, Paula Abdul called her “the most talked about contestant” on the show so far and Simon Cowell called her a “drama queen.”[14]

Jackie Tohn (born August 24, 1980) is a 28-year-old actress / musician from Silver Lake, California who auditioned in East Rutherford, New Jersey, sang “I’m Yours” by Jason Mraz for her audition. She has appeared on such TV shows as The Nanny, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and The Sopranos, and starred in the cult classic Postal.

Megan Corkrey (born August 5, 1985) is a 23-year-old from Sandy, Utah, who auditioned in Salt Lake City, Utah, sang “Can’t Help Lovin’ Dat Man” for her audition.

Mishavonna Henson (born July 25, 1990) is a 18-year-old from Irvine, California, who auditioned in Phoenix, Arizona. She previously auditioned in San Diego, California for Season 7 and made it to Hollywood Week, but she was cut in the second round. Before auditioning for American Idol, she was best known for her appearances in Frasier, and Charlie Lawrence, working as an actress. She is also the sister of young actor, Micah Henson.

Jesse Langseth (born April 13, 1983) is a 25-year-old from Minneapolis, Minnesota, who auditioned in Kansas City, Missouri. She is the sister of blues singer Jonny Lang.

Jasmine Murray (born March 14, 1992) is a 16-year-old from Starkville, Mississippi, who auditioned in Jacksonville, Florida, sang “Big Girls Don’t Cry” by Fergie for her audition. Murray is the second former Miss America’s Outstanding Teen contestant to be a semi-finalist on this season of American Idol. She was Miss Mississippi’s Outstanding Teen 2007.

Arianna Afsar (born October 22, 1991) is a 17-year-old from San Diego, California. She auditioned in Phoenix, Arizona, singing “Put Your Records On”, by Corinne Bailey Rae
. When she was 12 years old, she founded a program called “Adopt A Grand-Friend”, where teenagers go to a nursing home and spend time with the elderly and perform for them. Afsar is a former Miss California’s Outstanding Teen and placed first runner-up at the 2006 Miss America’s Outstanding Teen pageant. She is half Bangladeshi and half European American.
Felicia Barton (born March 6, 1982) is a 26-year-old from Virginia Beach, Virginia. She auditioned in Louisville, Kentucky, and sang “Put Your Records On” by Corinne Bailey Rae
. She made it to the Top 54 and was eliminated, but was brought back to replace Joanna Pacitti, who was disqualified.
Kendall Beard (born October 18, 1984) is a 24-year-old from Austin, Texas, who auditioned in San Juan, Puerto Rico, sang “From The Ashes” by Martina McBride
for her audition.
Kristen McNamara (born August 5, 1985) is a 23-year-old from Napa Valley, California, who auditioned in Louisville, Kentucky. She was a sixth place finalist on the fourth season of Nashville Star, and also previously competed on Star Search.
Lil Rounds (born November 14, 1984) is a 24-year-old from Memphis, Tennessee, who auditioned in Kansas City, Missouri. Her house in Memphis was previously destroyed by a tornado. She is a judge favorite.
Taylor Vaifanua (born January 12, 1992) is a 17-year-old from Hurricane, Utah, who auditioned in Salt Lake City, Utah. Her family is from Samoa.
