Mishavonna Henson (born July 25, 1990) is a 18-year-old from Irvine, California, who auditioned in Phoenix, Arizona. Before auditioning for American Idol, she was best known for her appearances in Frasier, and Charlie Lawrence, working as an actress. She is also the sister of young actor, Micah Henson.

Jesse Langseth (born April 13, 1983) is a 25-year-old from Minneapolis, Minnesota, who auditioned in Kansas City, Missouri. She is the sister of blues singer Jonny Lang.

Arianna Afsar (born October 22, 1991) is a 17-year-old from San Diego, California. She auditioned in Phoenix, Arizona, singing “Put Your Records On”, by Corinne Bailey Rae . When she was 12 years old, she founded a program called “Adopt A Grand-Friend”, where teenagers go to a nursing home and spend time with the elderly and perform for them. Afsar is a former Miss California’s Outstanding Teen and placed first runner-up at the 2006 Miss America’s Outstanding Teen pageant. She is half Bangladeshi and half European American.

Felicia Barton (born March 6, 1982) is a 26-year-old from Virginia Beach, Virginia. She auditioned in Louisville, Kentucky, and sang “Put Your Records On” by Corinne Bailey Rae . She made it to the Top 54 and was eliminated, but was brought back to replace Joanna Pacitti, who was disqualified.

Kendall Beard (born October 18, 1984) is a 24-year-old from Austin, Texas, who auditioned in San Juan, Puerto Rico, sang “From The Ashes” by Martina McBride for her audition.

Kristen McNamara (born August 5, 1985) is a 23-year-old from Napa Valley, California, who auditioned in Louisville, Kentucky. She was a sixth place finalist on the fourth season of Nashville Star, and also previously competed on Star Search.

Lil Rounds (born November 14, 1984) is a 24-year-old from Memphis, Tennessee, who auditioned in Kansas City, Missouri. Her house in Memphis was previously destroyed by a tornado. She is a judge favorite.

Taylor Vaifanua (born January 12, 1992) is a 17-year-old from Hurricane, Utah, who auditioned in Salt Lake City, Utah. Her family is from Samoa.

I decided that it was about time that I cover American Idol.  Specifically, I plan on posting all the different American Idol music.  I’m hoping to make it unique and post both the song sung on American Idol along with a link to the original song to download it on iTunes.  Too bad iTunes isn’t doing a special with American Idol and offering free American Idol music downloads.  The American Idol music might not be free, but I guess $1 isn’t too bad either. Anoop Desai (born December 20, 1986) is a 22-year-old college student from Chapel Hill, North Carolina, auditioned in Kansas City, Missouri. He impressed the judges when he auditioned in Kansas City[citation needed].

Stephen Fowler (born October 12, 1982) is a 26-year-old from Beachwood, Ohio, auditioned in New York. His version of “Superwoman (Where Were You When I Needed You)” by Stevie Wonder impressed the judges in Hollywood. However, he struggled on the last day when he sang his rendition of The Time of My Life by David Cook, and then forgot the lyrics while playing the keyboard.

Brent Keith (born November 6, 1979) is a 29-year-old from Blanchester, Ohio, auditioned in Louisville, Kentucky. He was a sixth place finalist on the second season of Nashville Star and recorded a song for the soundtrack to the documentary Dale.

Matt Breitzke (born July 23, 1981) is a 27-year-old welder from Bixby, Oklahoma, auditioned in Kansas City, Missouri.

Matt Giraud (born May 11, 1985) is a 23-year-old pianist from Kalamazoo, Michigan, auditioned in Louisville, Kentucky. For his audition he sang “I Don’t Want to Be” by Gavin Degraw. His group version of “I Want You Back” and “Georgia on My Mind” made him a judge favorite.

American Idol Performance on iTunes: “Viva la Vida” (Coldplay) 

Kai Kalama (born January 8, 1982) is a 27-year-old from San Clemente, California, auditioned in San Francisco, California. His mother has a seizure disorder that forced him to abandon his social life to take care of her.

Nick Mitchell (“Normund Gentle”), (born April 24, 1981) is a 27-year-old comedian from Brookfield, Connecticut, auditioned in New York. Norman Gentle is the name of the character that Nick auditioned as. He advanced into the Top 36, much to the chagrin of Simon, who is not a fan.

Ju’Not Joyner (born November 6, 1982) is a 26-year-old from Bowie, Maryland, auditioned in New York. He previously auditioned in Philadelphia for Season 7 and made it to Hollywood Week, but he was cut in the second round.

Scott MacIntyre (born June 22, 1985) is a 23-year-old pianist from Scottsdale, Arizona, auditioned in Phoenix, Arizona who is almost blind. MacIntyre also plays several instruments including the piano. Classically trained, he has been internationally profiled on various TV affiliates such as CNN, national and local news, radio, and print media as pianist, vocalist, and songwriter.

Nathaniel Marshall (born September 19, 1989) is a 19-year-old from Malone, New York, auditioned in New York. He grew up with various family members in New York because his mother was in jail for most of his life. He is probably best known for his emotional outbursts during Hollywood week.

Jorge Nuñez (born May 12, 1988) is a 20-year-old from Cidra, Puerto Rico, auditioned in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He is fluent in English, French, and Spanish, and is one of only two Puerto Ricans who made the top 36. His idol is Luis Fonsi.

Von Smith (born June 15, 1986) is a 22-year-old from Kansas City, Missouri, auditioned in Kansas City, Missouri. He gained some success via his YouTube videos that garnered him a national attention, leading to an appearance on The View in 2007. Soon thereafter he was offered, and eventually signed, a recording contract with Kon Live Distribution.

Alex Wagner-Trugman (born June 4, 1989) is a 19-year-old from Studio City, California, auditioned in Phoenix, Arizona. He is a sophomore at the University of Miami. He previously sung in his closet so he wouldn’t disturb his family but was forced to stop because an infection caused by the mold inside.

As announced earlier this week, Reality Check Radio held an Amazing Race season 13 reunion which included the top 4 finishing teams, (the team of Dan and Andrew was a surprise) with Mark also joining in, solo from his partner Bill. The teams discuss what all they’ve been up to and their fans reactions to them now that the show has ended. The Amazing Race 13 alumni give insight to alliances that were formed in the competition. They also give their take on the current season of The Amazing Race and their picks.

America’s Best Dance Crew favorite, JabbaWockeez, ended up on the big stage known as the NBA All Star Game in Phoenix. The coolest part was that they had a guest dancer by the name of Shaq. Check out the video to see Shaq dancing with JabbaWockeez.
