Welcome to Dopeland Thoughts

Written by:

The new dark comedy “Welcome To Dopeland” (formerly titled “Everything Must Go”) from director Len Dell’Amico is like a Cheech and Chong road picture crossed with Dr. Strangelove. About two slackers headed for trouble that find more of it than they ever dreamed of, this small indie flick covers some big bright ideas — and the end of the world — ripped right from today’s headlines.

For a limited time*, download “Welcome To Dopeland” for $2 by using the special discount code “Q802C088″ (Valid through 11/15) at checkout — go to http://bit.ly/OWSmovie to download your copy today.

I must admit that I’m not sure whether I hated Welcome to Dopeland or found it incredibly intriguing and thought provoking. I have a feeling that this is going to be one of those movies where the premise and messages it pictures are going to stick with me for a long time to come.

The movie definitely had strange and surprising twists every step of the way. For a while I had no idea where this movie was headed. In fact, they really wait until basically the end of the movie to reveal basically what’s going on.

You can find the trailer for Welcome to Dopeland below.
