Los Angeles, CA. – The Boardwalk Entertainment Group today announced the launch of a nationwide casting search for kids to be mentored by the biggest and most established artists in the music industry in a groundbreaking new reality series, Majors & Minors, to be televised this fall on The Hub television network, a destination for kids and their families.
The new music-based performance competition show will feature top music artists includingLeona Lewis, Jordin Sparks, Sean Kingston, One Republic’s Ryan Tedder and others to be announced in the coming weeks, as they mentor talented young performers who willget the chance of a lifetime – to be taught by the best in the music business, giving them the direction and tools they’ll need to embark on their individual journeys toward achieving their dreams.
AN OPEN CASTING CALL will be conducted at the Los Angeles Convention Center onSunday, April 10th as part of the “Reality Rocks Expo,” a major two-day event that will be highlighting some of the biggest reality shows on television ( Children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to participate.

Boardwalk principal Evan Bogart, the songwriting hit-maker for music stars Rihanna and Beyonce, along with Boardwalk partners and acclaimed TV producers Timothy Bogart and Gary A. Randall (whose collective credits include the highly anticipated singer/songwriter reality competition series Platinum Hit for Bravo, the Holly Hunter series Saving Grace for TNT as well as A&E’s highest-ever rated scripted drama series, The Glades) will produce the series for The Hub in partnership with Sony Music Entertainment’s The RCA /JIVE Label Group and BMI.

There will be no “losers” in Majors and Minors. Over the course of the 15-episode series the entire cast will be taught by their “Majors/Mentors,” sharpening and honing the skills they come in with, ensuring that everybody leaves the experience better prepared to make the journey to capture their dreams.  While no one ever gets “voted off,” at the end of the series one lucky cast member, viewed by the celebrity mentors and producers as having the greatest breakout potential, will win a recording deal (with Boardwalk and the RCA/JIVE Label Group), a music publishing deal, and the chance to become the featured star in a cross-country live tour with the entire cast.
