Shark Tank Season 2 Back on ABC
Written by: JohnI just saw the news that one of my favorite TV shows, Shark Tank is returning for a second season on ABC.
The In the Shark Tank blog says that it will be an 8 episode run with all of the sharks from season 1 returning. This is great news since I loved the personalities of all the sharks.
The bigs new though, is that there will be 2 new sharks:
Comedian – Jeff Foxworthy
Dallas Mavericks Owner (and billionaire entrepreneur) – Mark Cuban
I love both of those characters. Although, I think Jeff Foxworthy feels a little bit odd on the show. I guess he has too much money and needs to find some way to spend it.
Mark Cuban on the other hand is a big time investor. I’m a huge fan of Mark Cuban. He’s a bit abrasive at times, but he’s got a fantastic business mind and is never short on opinions. I expect some huge battles between him and the other sharks. That will be a lot of fun to watch!!
Shark Tank is definite must see TV for me! I’m so glad it’s coming back with the Shark Tank premiere scheduled for March 25th.

Skating with the Stars on ABC – Johnny Weir Maybe?
Written by: JohnLike “Dancing,” “Skating with the Stars” will find stars competing live and in front of a panel of judges who will rate their performances.
Just in time for winter, the six-episode show will premiere on Monday, November 22 on ABC. The cast of the new reality show will be unveiled on November 2.
“Skating with the Stars” isn’t the first ice skating celeb competition to hit the U.S.
A similar program, “Skating with Celebrities” appeared on FOX in 2006. Among the stars who competed on that program included “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” patriarch Bruce Jenner, former “Full House” funnyman Dave Coulier and actress Kristy Swanson, who famously became involved with her then-married dancing partner, Lloyd Eisler. – Source
Skating definitely seems a bit more dangerous than dancing. Although, considering the number of injuries on Dancing with the Stars, maybe I’m wrong.
Looks like it’s going to be on during the Holiday Break when there’s not much on TV. So, I’ll probably watch it. What can I say? I love reality TV. It’s really entertaining.
The real question is who will be the professional skaters on the show. I’m guessing Johnny Weir. Maybe Kristi Yamaguchi since she has the DWTS tie in.
Anyone know where we can see footage of the previous skating star competition on Fox?

Secret Millionaire Back on ABC
Written by: JohnI loved Secret Millionaire when it first showed in the US. It really is an amazing show with a great message. I still think about some of the moments I saw on the Secret Millionaire. If you haven’t seen it, watch for it. Here’s a description of it on the Summer Press Tour:

Conveyor Belt of Love Preview
Written by: JohnThere’s a new show on ABC.com called Conveyor Belt of Love. Basically, a bunch of guys come out on a conveyor belt and 5 ladies choose if they’re interested or not. If 2 of the ladies choose one guy, then the guy gets to choose who they want to date. This show is all about casting the right people to entertain us, but this preview of Conveyor Belt of Love is pretty entertaining stuff.

Shark Tank – Venture Capitalists Eating Up Entrepreneurs
Written by: JohnI must admit that I absolutely adore Shark Tank. It’s quickly become one of my very favorite shows on television. I probably still like Amazing Race more and I’m pretty fond of the various dance shows as well. I just love everything about Shark Tank.
The biggest problem I have is time, or I would write a lot more about the various entrepreneurs pitching to the investors. Since I don’t have time, everyone that loves the show like me will enjoy this blog appropriately called “In the Shark Tank.”
That was actually the original name of the show before they changed the name to just Shark Tank.
Sure, there’s a little bit of bravado involved with the investors having the cameras there, but they really do want to invest in these companies with their own money. So, it is really exciting to watch. Plus, there are so many different ideas and people on the show that it’s just a fun cross section of what’s out there in America. No need to go further than this writeup of the 7th episode of Shark Tank. This show is fantastic. I hope that everyone watches it and that ABC renews it for a long time to come.

In the Shark Tank Premiere
Written by: JohnI must admit that this show is right up my alley. I’ve always had a fascination with entrepreneurship and I admit that my RSS feed reader is full of venture capitalists, angel investors and entrepreneurs. I think I have that entrepreneur itch that will never end. So, you can imagine how excited I was to see “In The Shark Tank” premiere on ABC.
Seriously, I don’t think those guys were acting too much for the camera. It was how they really feel. The 2 tech guys were the most entertaining and it makes sense why since they understand the realities of the tech industry. It’s just like they described it to the entrepreneurs who were pitching.
I wish that they actually provided more counsel and advice to the entrepreneurs, but they have to keep the show interesting for everyone that’s watching. So, I guess it makes sense the way they cut it.
The only thing I didn’t like about In The Shark Tank was that the hour went by so quick. I’ll be very interested to watch this show each week.

Will Izzie (Katherine Heigl) Die On Tonight’s Grey’s Anatomy
Written by: JohnI asked those who are following the Pure TV Network on Twitter “Will Izzie die tonight on Grey’s Anatomy?”
I got a bunch of responses to whether Izzie will die on tonight’s Grey’s Anatomy finale. Check out people’s opinions on Katherine Heigl’s possible death:

My answer to “Is it wrong to *hope* so?” was “Since it’s TV, no. If it weren’t TV, then yes. So, hope away.”
After my responses, I also got these 2 interesting replies about Izzie’s death on Grey’s Anatomy and my opinion:

I can’t wait to enjoy 2 hours of pure Grey’s with my wife. What better birthday gift could I give her?

The Visitor – Music and Richard Jenkins’ Oscar Nomination
Written by: JohnThe Oscars are upon us. I must admit that I’m not a very big fan of all these awards shows. There are far too many and now they are just all mixed together. I never really remember which one is which. However, they have become amazing TV productions that are fun to watch. I especially enjoy flipping to these shows during commercials for other shows, but I digress.
I recently was sent an email talking about the Oscar nomination for actor in a leading role of Richard Jenkins. Richard Jenkins really was fantastic in The Visitor and I’m glad to see he was nominated for an Oscar. I’m not sure he’s going to win, but the show was fantastic and Richard Jenkins did a wonderful job portraying the character.
Of course, the best part of The Visitor was actually the music. Check out the music from The Visitor and you’ll see what I mean:

Reality TV spoilers has a little bit of a Bachelor spoiler per People Magazine which says that Jason Mesnick is engaged after the filming of this season of the Bachelor.
