Fringe will air 55 full minutes of content and only 5 minutes of commercials, as opposed to the usual 43 minutes of content format used by other hour-long series. This is part of FOX’s new strategy to bring more viewers to the show.
Runtime:82 min (pre-release version) Let’s hope FOX air’s the 82 min. version with limited commercial breaks.

DC Comics will be releasing a prequel comic book on August 27, two weeks before the series premiere on September 9.

The budget for the show’s “Pilot” episode was $10 million. (Not sure why people keep saying $11 million. I’ve learned from a few good sources that it was $10 million.)
