I Love Money-Episode 11 Recap
Written by: RockyLast week was a crazy week on I Love Money and we were left with a cliffhanger that promised some juicy drama ahead. Unfortunantly, this week didn’t live up to the hype. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed the show, it just moved slower than I expected.
What I learned from this week’s show:
A person’s word is only as good as the order in which it is given.
Men are just as irrational as women when they are in love.
Even family will manipulate you when $250,000 is on the line.
There is a fine line between friend and enemy when love is involved.
Denial is awkward to watch.
Whiteboy is very protective of his “package”.
Men will kiss anything that looks remotely like a woman. Should we feel sorry for that Mexican guy?
People are easy to manipulate.
Hoopz eliminated both Toastee and Pumkin.
Megan really is a cat with nine lives!
This week the Vh1 Blog had an awesome recap of the show including some great pictures. Check it out!
Next week we will see clips of scenes we have not seen before and then the following week we will have the finale.

Charm School: Rock of Love Girls -Sneak Peak
Written by: RockyI am looking forward to a second season of Charm School, especially with Sharon Osbourne as headmistress. Sharon has had to handle a crazy rocker of a husband, raise her kids on the road and battle cancer. But is she ready for the catty women of Rock of Love 1 & 2?
In case you are not familiar with how Charm School works, here’s some background info from the press release:
Breakout stars from both seasons of Rock of Love will come together under one roof to learn and grow in areas of etiquette, fashion, manners, and moderation. They will be refined in hopes to graduate Charm School as sophisticated and polite ladies. And who better to push these girls down the road to renewal and re-discovery than Sharon Osbourne. As Headmistress of Charm School, Sharon will attempt to strip the girls of their former rebellious and wild ways. And with some help from experts, hopefully transform the girls into fully rockin’ ladies.
The contestants will focus on one lesson a week followed by a demanding test. Whoever doesn’t measure up to the challenges of Charm School will be expelled. In the end, the last one standing will be rewarded with $100,000 to put towards her new and improved life.
Here’s a sneak peak from the premiere episode of Charm School: Rock of Love Girls, which premieres Oct. 12 on VH1. In this opening scene, we catch the girls aboard the bus on the way to the academy. We’re reminded of their previous indiscretions and, per headmistress Sharon Osbourne’s narration, given a glimpse of what to expect from this series.

I Love Money: I don’t just love it, I want more!
Written by: RockyHere at Pure TV Freaks, we’ll be looking at some of the wildest characters that make reality TV worth watching. Characters we love and those we love to hate. Let’s see just how far some people are willing to go for fifteen minutes of fame.
Let the freak show begin!
I Love Money!
Vh1 has taken reality TV to a whole new level. They gathered together some of the most ridiculous, self-deluded characters from their three top reality shows: I Love New York, Flavor of Love, and Rock of Love.
What makes this show so entertaining is that these characters, unlike most reality characters, are completely honest about why they are on the show. They love money and will do anything to get it. The reward if they win – $250,000 in cash.
Because these are some of the most over-the-top characters on tv, the strategies they come up with to win will have you gasping for air. Sometimes in shock but usually with laughter. This show has everything from twisted romances, betrayals, heated competitions, fighting, more fighting and lots of underhanded strategies.
The most shocking part about watching this show is that the heavy editing we usually complain about is what makes it so good. This show doesn’t pretend to be totally real. It is blatantly edited like a sitcom. We ’see’ what cast members are thinking while they narrate with sound bites from interviews. Cheesy music is often in the background, adding to the sitcom feel. As people continue to grow dissatisfied with the current formulas for reality tv, I think we’ll be seeing more shows going in this direction. Real people, doing improvisational acting within television story formats.
I have an upcoming blog that will introduce the characters on the show but until then take a look at the preview package for I Love Money.
